This half-moon shaped bay on the Windward side of the island is protected by a great snorkeling reef and is very popular for all types of surfing. A mile of undeveloped park-like beach with shallow waters ideal for children, makes Le Gallion a favorite for families. Families, who are in the sad habit of not cleaning up after themselves, so that trash has become a real problem on Gallion Beach.
This beautiful area is a protected Nature Marine Reserve. Windsurfing lessons, paddle boats, snorkeling trips are available. Sadly, the beach bar 'Chez Pat' is gone due to hurricane Irma. It was the Turner family which kept the beach clean and frequently collected the trash thoughtless beach goers left behind.
Le Gallion is a 'hang-out' spot for meeting like-minded water sports enthusiasts, and its friendly island ambiance complements the beautiful surroundings. A great place to 'get away from it all!'
