Indigo Bay was previously known as Cay Bay - in case you try to find it on Google Maps. The complete valley is now in the hands of an ecology-conscious developer, who is carefully building quality homes along the slopes and created a Caribbean beach environment, very much off the beaten path of tourism. A testament to the quality of the project is the fact that this area did not suffer any significant damages during the passing of Hurricane Irma in '17.
Right on the beach is the Indigo Beach Cafe, a restaurant that won a large following by offering superb cuisine. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available.
Indigo Bay is located equally convenient between Philipsburg and Simpson Bay.
This is a great beach if you try to get away from the crowds while appreciating fine food, good drinks and a broad wine list in a beach setting.
