Lotus is the island's leading dance and nightclub and has become St. Maarten's party central. Since the club opened its doors in the Simpson Bay area, the heartbeat of the island's nightlife is now on the stretch around the lagoon drawbridge, with over forty bars and restaurants within easy walking distance to each other.
Lotus occupies a lofty space in a former movie theater. Operated by Manny Almirakis of Tantra Nightclub fame and his experienced staff, Lotus replaces the former No. 1 SXM club, which was destroyed by Hurricane Irma.
With a reliable schedule of themed nights, Lotus established itself within a few months as St. Maarten's most popular party spot. Wednesday is always Ladies Nights, with free drinks if you are of the right gender. Thursday is reserved for Caribbean Night, Friday is 'About Last Night' and Saturday invites elegance. Frequently, there are special events with renowned entertainers.
Lotus Nightclub opens its door at 10 PM and lets the party go on until 4 AM.
