One of the few areas on St-Martin not much effected by Hurricane Irma is Friar's Bay. Since this beautiful bay is well protected from the wind and heavy surf, it is ideal for the whole family.

Next door is Kali's Beach Bar and Restaurant, which first opened for business some 15 years ago. He features "catch of the day" and fresh salads, made from his vegetable garden on property. Kali's is best known for its legendary Full Moon Parties.
Hundreds of people, local and vacationers alike, dance to the beat of live reggae music 'till the wee hours, while others enjoy the huge bonfire set alight at midnight by Kali himself.
