The casual Gingerbread Café is a Caribbean-style restaurant and bar at the Belair Beach Hotel. It is a hidden gem of a beach bar and restaurant, located right at the water's edge of Little Bay Beach and with a broad view over the Caribbean Sea and the cruise ships departing Philipsburg. Gingerbread Café is the social hub of the resort complex but is open and welcoming to the public.
Open from 8 AM to 10 PM, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Gingerbread is famous for its all-you-can-eat-BBQ on Mondays and invites all St. Maarten visitors to join in. Other evenings have different specials, notably Lobster Night on Wednesday and Surf and Turf on Friday. On all special nights, you will also find live entertainment.
Happy Hour lasts a generous three hours from 3 PM to 6 PM - plenty of time to enjoy the tropical cocktails mixed at the fully stocked bar.
